Sir Robert Stuart 
Robert was born about 1342 in Drumlanrig Castle, Durisdeer, Nithsdale, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.1 Robert's father was Sir Robert Stewart and his mother was Catherine MacDougall. His paternal grandparents were Sir James Stewart of Periston and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Baccach MacDougall and <Unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Catherine and Isabel. He was the oldest of the four children. He died as a war casualty, Battle of Shrewsbury, in 1403.2 -
