Buford Reid was born on March 27th, 1884 in Rockingham Co, NC. Buford Reid's father was Francis Joyce Stone and his mother was Mary Susan Roberts. His paternal grandparents were John Stone and Matilda Roberts; his maternal grandparents were John Roberts and Eliza Unknown. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William J., Robert Lee and Victoria Cornelia. He died at the age of 69 on October 23rd, 1953 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co, NC. He was buried on October 25th, 1953 in Lawson Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
