Powhatan Allan was born on March 18th, 1911 in Rockingham Co, NC. Powhatan Allan's father was Powhatan William Stanford and his mother was Lilly Bertha Roberts. His maternal grandparents were William Allen Roberts and Caledonia D. Trent. He had a brother and a sister, named Aubrey Homan and Gertrude Earline. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 67 on March 11th, 1979 in VA.General Notes
