Sylvester Simmons 
Sylvester was born on June 25th, 1895 in Coffee Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1910. Sylvester's father was William Anderson Simmons and his mother was Sarah Samatha Cole. His paternal grandparents were William Simmons and Susannah E. Adair. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Marion A., James William, Marion Wiley, Henry Joe, Grover Cleveland 'Cleve', Mance, Herman, Maggie, Alice, Clarinda E. 'Clara' and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on April 10th, 1971 in Manchester, Coffee Co, TN.General Notes
