Alice Simmons 
Alice was born in January 1888 in Coffee Co, TN. Alice's father was William Anderson Simmons and her mother was Sarah Samatha Cole. Her paternal grandparents were William Simmons and Susannah E. Adair. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Marion A., James William, Marion Wiley, Henry Joe, Grover Cleveland 'Cleve', Sylvester, Mance, Herman, Maggie, Clarinda E. 'Clara' and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 31 on August 6th, 1919 in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co, TN.General Notes
