Mance Simmons 
Mance was born on January 16th, 1899 in Coffee Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. Mance's father was William Anderson Simmons and his mother was Sarah Samatha Cole. His paternal grandparents were William Simmons and Susannah E. Adair. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Marion A., James William, Marion Wiley, Henry Joe, Grover Cleveland 'Cleve', Sylvester, Herman, Maggie, Alice, Clarinda E. 'Clara' and Mary. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 65 on June 9th, 1964 in Asbury, Coffee Co, TN.General Notes
