Hettie Jane Simmons 
Hettie Jane was born on December 16th, 1873 in Van Buren Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1880. Hettie Jane's father was Rev. Simon Dillard Simmons and her mother was Mary Lucinda Lawson. Her paternal grandparents were Zachariah Thomas Simmons and Mary Louisa Dodson. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Clinton, Lewis Dillard, William Austin, Jacob Z. T., Simon, James Amos, Fredrick Moulton, Samuel Litton, Margaret Lou, Stacy Hortense, Winnie 'Willie' E. and Eliza Mae. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children. She had two half-sisters named Essie and Lema D.. She died at the age of 88 on December 28th, 1961 in Bledsoe Co, TN. She was buried in Blackburn Cemetery, Bledsoe Co, TN.General Notes
