Bettie Susan Shofner 
Bettie Susan was born on March 14th, 1892 in Kentucky.1 Bettie Susan's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and her mother was Louisa Catherine Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David Cleaver, Charles Thomas, Chester Young, Ruth Janel, Myrtle White and Ethel Maye. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 63 on March 1st, 1956.1 General Notes
