Woodson Roberts 
Woodson was born in 1817 in Orange Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1870.1 Woodson's father was Mark William Roberts and his mother was Lucretia Christina Parish. His paternal grandparents were John Roberts and Elizabeth Jones. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Wesley, Mark William, Robert R., Willie, Polly, Betsy, Nancy and Sally. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 in 1880.1 General Notes
