Betsy Roberts 
Betsy was born in 1816 in Orange Co, NC.1 Betsy's father was Mark William Roberts and her mother was Lucretia Christina Parish. Her paternal grandparents were John Roberts and Elizabeth Jones. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John Wesley, Mark William, Robert R., Woodson, Willie, Polly, Nancy and Sally. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.1 General Notes
