William Alonzo Roberts 
William Alonzo was born on August 15th, 1888 in Rockingham Co, NC. William Alonzo's father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and his mother was Matilda C. Harris. His paternal grandparents were Nebuchanezer Roberts and Mary A. Floyd. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jentie F., Julius Lynch, Mary Eunice and Ora M.. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Annie. He died at the age of 75 on October 9th, 1963 in Leaksville, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on October 11th, 1963 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
