Jentie F. was born in October 1886 in Rockingham Co, NC. Jentie F.'s father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and his mother was Matilda C. Harris. His paternal grandparents were Nebuchanezer Roberts and Mary A. Floyd. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William Alonzo, Julius Lynch, Mary Eunice and Ora M.. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Annie.General Notes
