William Roberts 
William was born in 1785 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 William's father was Naman Roberts and his mother was Mary A. G. Unknown. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Elizabeth Lightfoot. He had three brothers named Josiah, Martin and James. He was the second youngest of the four children.1 General Notes
