Oliver Benton Roberts 
Oliver Benton was born on April 27th, 1894 in Rockingham Co, NC. Oliver Benton's father was Joseph Walker Roberts and his mother was Henrietta Clay Ellington. His paternal grandparents were Nebuchanezer Roberts and Mary A. Floyd. He had two brothers and a sister, named Harry Walker, James Edgar and Annie H.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 72 on January 5th, 1967 in Winston-Salem Cemetery, Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co, NC. He was buried on January 7th, 1967 in Mount Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
