Martha Jane Roberts 
Martha Jane was born in 1876 in Rockingham Co, NC. Martha Jane's father was King Roberts and her mother was Chaney Ann Victoria Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Roberts and Rebecca Anna Thomas. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Martin, George, Polly and Louisa. She was the second youngest of the five children.
