George Roberts 
George was born in 1879 in Rockingham Co, NC. George's father was King Roberts and his mother was Chaney Ann Victoria Carter. His paternal grandparents were Henry Roberts and Rebecca Anna Thomas. He had a brother and three sisters, named Martin, Polly, Louisa and Martha Jane. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother named John H..General Notes
