Martha Roberts 
Martha was born in 1811 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Martha's father was Ellis Roberts and her mother was Lydia Strong. Her paternal grandparents were Cyrus L. Roberts and Eliza Unknown. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Ellis, Richard, John V., James S., Sally and Julia A.. She was the third oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
