Dr. John Mason Roberts 
John Mason was born on December 25th, 1825 in TN.1 John Mason's father was Jacob Roberts and his mother was Nancy Uranea Robinson. His paternal grandparents were William Roberts and Lucy Jane Umstead. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, Richard Alexander, Jacob Baldwin, Thomas Flannery, Mary Polly, Elizabeth and Lydia Louisa. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on February 12th, 1911 in Johnson Co, TN. He was buried in Wright Cemetery, Johnson Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
