Jacob Roberts 
Jacob was born on August 28th, 1799 in Orange Co, NC and his baptism took place in Moved.1 Jacob's father was William Roberts and his mother was Lucy Jane Umstead. His paternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Mary Langston. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Willis B., Richard, William, Elisha, John W., David, Mahala, Winnifred and Daughter. He died at the age of 44 on October 12th, 1843 in Madison Co, TN. He was buried in Mack Cemetery, Johnson Co, TN.1 General Notes
