John Roberts 
John was born in 1805 in Rockingham Co, NC. John's father was Henry Roberts and his mother was Rebecca Anna Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Burrell S., Anderson, Joseph Henry, Henry B., King, Allen, Daughter, Daughter and Mary Polly. He was the oldest of the ten children.General Notes
