J. D. Roberts 
J. D. was born on June 20th, 1928 in Rockingham Co, NC. J. D.'s father was Zeb and his mother was Nora Lee Dye. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mike Roberts and Martha Jane Bailey. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Clarence Charlie, Cecil Penn, Claudia Mae and Carrie Bell. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 55 on May 20th, 1984 in Burlington, Alamance Co, NC.General Notes
