Herbert Hugh was born on March 17th, 1888 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Herbert Hugh's father was William Allen Roberts and his mother was Caledonia D. Trent. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Roberts and Arrena Wortha Hopper. He had a brother and two sisters, named Gerald R., Lilly Bertha and Addie Leslie. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 75 on April 6th, 1963 in Stoneville, Rockingham Co, NC.
