Bessie Allen Roberts 
Bessie Allen was born in 1886 in Rockingham Co, NC. Bessie Allen's father was Charles Allen Roberts and her mother was Nancy Jane Price. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Roberts and Lutisha T. Hopper. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles Judson, Henry Casper, William Ruffin, Minnie Lee and Bessie Delia. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died in 1886 in Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
