Bessie Roberts 
Bessie was born in 1903 in Rockingham Co, NC. Bessie's father was Ralph R. Roberts and her mother was Patricia 'Pattie' Lindsey. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Roberts and Lutisha T. Hopper. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Lindsay, Jon, Ralph, Rodger, Kate and Josephine. She was the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
