America Roberts 
America was born in 1849 in Marshall Co, TN.1 America's father was Andrew J. Roberts and his mother was Tennessee Jane Steel. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Roberts and Rebecca E. Jones. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John S., James T., Melville J., Andrew M., Margaret S. and Jeannie. He was the second oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
