Alexander Pitcairn 
Alexander was born in 1580 in Dreghorn, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 Alexander's father was Alexander Andrew Pitcairn and his mother was Elizabeth Sinclair. His paternal grandparents were 16th Laird of Dreghorn David Pitcairn and Mariotta Menteith. He was an only child. He died at the age of 96 in 1676 in Scotland.1 General Notes
