Henry was born about 1520 in Leslie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 Henry's father was John Pitcairn and his mother was Agnes Ayton. His paternal grandparents were 12th Laird of Dreghorn David Pitcairn and Elizabeth Drury. He was an only child. He died on May 1st, 1586 in Scotland.1 General Notes
