Robert F was born on August 19th, 1857 in Green Co, Kentucky, USA. Robert F's father was Joseph Harrison Perkins and his mother was Nancy Maude Akin. His maternal grandparents were John Akin and Elizabeth (Betsey) McKinney. He had two brothers and six sisters, named James H, John Edward, Eliza E, Melissa Atwood, Alice, Margaret A, Sarah Elizabeth and Susan Lou Ann. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 on March 7th, 1939 in Metcalfe Co, Kentucky, USA.-
