James Thomas Painter 
James Thomas was born on May 18th, 1925 in Person Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. James Thomas' father was William Weldon Painter and his mother was Roxie Long. His paternal grandparents were William 'Bill' J. Painter and Mary Elizabeth 'Mollie Bet' Yarbrough. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Odis, George Washington, Luther Weldon, Jessie Bill, Edward Reid, Jerry Onzlow, Lela, Infant and Infant. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 58 on May 7th, 1984 in Durham Co, NC. He was buried in Painter Family Cemetery, Person Co, NC.General Notes
