Mary Wallingford was born on May 3rd, 1830 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 Mary Wallingford's father was Anthony PAYTON and her mother was Margaret WALLINGFORD. Her maternal grandparents were Mark WALLINGFORD and Mary WHALEY. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named William, James Franklin, Mark Wallingford, Thomas, George Washington, Laureny Douglas, John L., Harvey H., Julina, Louisa D. and Sarah E.. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. She died about 1863.2 -
