Mary E. was born on August 25th, 1906 in Rockingham Co, NC. Mary E.'s father was Thomas Cleveland Oakley and her mother was Edna Clarence Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Adolphus Douglas Roberts and Mary Jane Green. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry Leonard, Elmo Shields, Minnie Ester, Ruby C., Mabel A., Mildred T. and Edna A.. She died at the age of 68 on January 18th, 1975 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried on January 20th, 1975 in Roberts Family Cemetery, Stoneville, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
