Elmo Shields Oakley 
Elmo Shields was born on June 22nd, 1910 in Rockingham Co, NC. Elmo Shields' father was Thomas Cleveland Oakley and his mother was Edna Clarence Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Adolphus Douglas Roberts and Mary Jane Green. He had a brother and six sisters, named Henry Leonard, Mary E., Minnie Ester, Ruby C., Mabel A., Mildred T. and Edna A.. He died at the age of 88 on February 14th, 1999 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
