Mary Ann Elizabeth was born about 1843 in Henry Co., VA.. Mary Ann Elizabeth's father was Courtney W. NORMAN Sr. and her mother was Elizabeth Jane MITCHELL. Her paternal grandparents were Nelson NORMAN and Polley OAKES. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James Wesley, Courtney W., J. William, Samuel O., Infant, Letitia S., Sarah Melissa and Nancy Alice. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died after 1873.General Notes
May have moved to KY. before the 1870 census for Henry Co., VA.
Some researchers maintain that Mary Ann married her cousin, a son of C.H. Norman.
