James Benjamin Miller 
James Benjamin was born on October 14th, 1881 in Van Buren Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. James Benjamin's father was James Thomas Miller and his mother was Margaret D. Simmons. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Lewis Simmons Sr. and Nancy Caroline Beatty. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph William 'Joe', David Albert, Fanny, Lucy Catherine 'Cassie', Maggie, Mary E. and Jennie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 on August 5th, 1960 in Van Buren Co, TN. He was buried in Laurel Creek Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
