Nicholas B. McCubbin 
Nicholas was born in 1815 in Green County, Kentucky.1 Nicholas' father was Nicholas (Blind Nick) McCubbin and his mother was Elizabeth Bloyd. His paternal grandparents were John Israel McCubbin and Sapho Lunnon; his maternal grandparents were John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and Mary Riggins. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Timberhead, John, William, Martha, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
