John London McCubbin 
John was born on May 9th, 1809.1 John's father was Nicholas (Blind Nick) McCubbin and his mother was Elizabeth Bloyd. His paternal grandparents were John Israel McCubbin and Sapho Lunnon; his maternal grandparents were John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and Mary Riggins. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Timberhead, Nicholas, William, Martha, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
