Adolphus Hopper 
Adolphus was born in 1846 in NC. Adolphus' father was Samuel S. Hopper and his mother was Julia A. Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Ellis Roberts and Lydia Strong. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, James Terrell and Lydia. He was the oldest of the four children.General Notes
