Baronet Sir William Hamilton 
Baronet Sir William was born about 1608 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Baronet Sir William's father was 1st Earl of Abercorn Sir James Hamilton and his mother was Marion Boyd. His paternal grandparents were 1st Baron Paisley Claude Hamilton and Margaret Seton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Earl Abercorn James, Baron Hamilton Claude, Baronet Sir George, Sir Alexander, Anne, Isobel, Lucrece and Margaret. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died on June 25th, 1681 in South Shields, Durham, England.-
