Raymond E was born on March 30th, 1916 in Barren County, Kentucky, USA. Raymond E's father was Joseph Price Groce and his mother was Lura Bell Foster. His maternal grandparents were Elzie V. Foster and Lucretia "Lou Ella" Wells. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jerry E, Arthur L, Robert James and Velma Catherine Harris. He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert J, Raymond E and Cathren V. He died at the age of 71 on June 16th, 1987 in Fayette, Kentucky.-
