Ernest Toliver Grissom 
Ernest Toliver was born on April 21st, 1884 in Van Buren Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Ernest Toliver's father was James Phillip Grissom and his mother was Louisa Caroline Simmons. His maternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Herod, Haveron Bryan, Abijah E. 'Doc', Phillip Lee, Lela Mae, Virginia Ann 'Jennie', Mary Belle, Elcie Bell and Mary Lodema. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 92 on March 12th, 1977 in Van Buren Co, TN. He was buried on March 16th, 1977 in Long Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
