Sarah Elizabeth Goforth 
Sarah Elizabeth was born on February 1st, 1839 in NC. Sarah Elizabeth's father was William Clayton Goforth and her mother was Jane Christina Houser. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry Pinkney, William Harrison Henry, David Harry, Frank, Charles Lee, Cyrus Robson Ross, Faithy Ann, Caroline Calline, Jane Elizabeth, Chastity Mary Ida and Charlotte. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 40 on July 17th, 1879. She was buried in El Bethel Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
