Cyrus Robson Ross was born on July 15th, 1860 in NC and his baptism took place in Birth Fact. Cyrus Robson Ross' father was William Clayton Goforth and his mother was Jane Christina Houser. His maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Henry Pinkney, William Harrison Henry, David Harry, Frank, Charles Lee, Faithy Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Caroline Calline, Jane Elizabeth, Chastity Mary Ida and Charlotte. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on August 18th, 1942 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
