Her maternal grandparents were Famous Mortimore BLUE and Nancy Mead JONES-TURBYVILLE. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Famous A., Reuben Glenroy, William A., George B., Fred, Irson A., Francis M., Frank, Thalie and Pearl. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
