Famous A. was born about 1858 in Warren Co., Illinois.1 Famous A.'s father was Irson Gates GILLETT and his mother was Mary E. BLUE. His maternal grandparents were Famous Mortimore BLUE and Nancy Mead JONES-TURBYVILLE. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Reuben Glenroy, William A., George B., Fred, Irson A., Francis M., Frank, Viola J., Thalie and Pearl. He was the oldest of the eleven children.-
