Vopal Edna was born on July 11th, 1912 in Iowa City, Wright, Iowa, United States. Vopal Edna's father was Hamilton "Ham" Jefferson Foster and her mother was Flora Clara Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were James Allen Foster and Nancy Alice Shilling. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Del L, Lee Lemuel, James Opal, Everett Lowell, Delbert H, Erskine C, Fay Irene, Eda J, Gladdis and June Louise. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 78 on July 7th, 1991 in Frederic, Polk, Wisconsin, United States.-
