Sallie Ella Foster 
Sallie Ella was born on June 4th, 1859 in Caswell, North Carolina.1 Sallie Ella's father was William Williamson P. Foster and her mother was Sarah Harrelson Montgomery. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Foster and Mary "Polley" Harrelson. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Felix Allen, James W., William H., Henry Thomas, Martha A., Mazuria A, Parthena Harrelson, Carrie Lee and Nannie R.. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 80 on May 5th, 1940 in Coolsprings, Iredell, North Carolina.1 -
