Parthena Harrelson was born on August 15th, 1863 in Caswell Co, North Carolina.1 Parthena Harrelson's father was William Williamson P. Foster and her mother was Sarah Harrelson Montgomery. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Foster and Mary "Polley" Harrelson. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Felix Allen, James W., William H., Henry Thomas, Martha A., Mazuria A, Sallie Ella, Carrie Lee and Nannie R.. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 94 on September 21st, 1957 in Iredall Co NC. She was buried in September 1957 in Fifth Creek Presbyterian Cemetery , Cool Springs ,Iredall Co NC.-
