Charlie Jasper "Hoss" was born on November 14th, 1911 in North Carolina.1 Charlie Jasper "Hoss"'s father was Charles "Charlie" Monroe Foster and his mother was Lena Mae Smith. His paternal grandparents were Shadrach Shadric M. Foster and Nancy E Beauchamp. He had a brother and four sisters, named Willie Ray, Vera Irene, Nan "Nannie" Evelyn, Stella and Margaret L. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 69 on January 8th, 1981 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina. He was buried in 1981 in Smith Grove Methodist Church Cemetery Davie Co NC.2 -
