William Elkin

William was born in October 1875 in Kentucky. William's father was John Martin Elkin and his mother was Sarah A. Thompson. His paternal grandparents were William Melton Elkin and Lucyann Perlina Davis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James S., Joseph R., Charles A., Jake, Lucy J., Mary M. and Florence. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
