William Willard Dewhitt 
William Willard was born on March 24th, 1885 in Howard, Elk Co, KS.1 William Willard's father was William Ashbury Dewhitt and his mother was Lydia Anna Wall. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Wall and Eliza Reed Grant. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Samuel G., Joseph Henry, Alan Wakefield, Clyde, Florence Estelle, Eliza Elizabeth, Mary Etta, Anna Evaline, Leuna Iona and Nancy Ellen. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on August 24th, 1964 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co, CA. He was buried in Oakhill Cemetery, San Jose, Santa Clara Co, CA.1 General Notes
